FERC issues deficiency letter requiring ISO-NE to submit within 30 days additional information, including the following: (i) an example of a potential site for the reference unit (in or near New London County, CT) that is two miles from both a main natural gas transmission line and the point of interconnection to the electric grid; (ii) an estimate of NOx emissions limit and whether those limits affect the reference unit’s revenues; and (iii) additional support for the assumption that the reference unit always runs on natural gas rather than oil in the dispatch model. The submission of the additional information will re-set the 60-day deadline for FERC action on this matter.
New England Power submits a supplemental compliance filing to supplement the Jul 30 Compliance Filing with respect to Local Network Service provided by NEP under Schedule 21-NEP. NEP
proposes that these compliance revisions be in effect for the interim Jan 1, 2020 – Dec 31, 2021 period. For the period commencing Jan 1, 2022, compliance with Order No. 864 for local service provided by NEP will be governed by the compliance revisions to the ISO-NE OATT submitted by the TOs pending in ER20-2572 as supplemented by the revised accumulated deferred income taxes (“ADIT”) worksheet filed Feb 12, 2021 by NEP and the other NETOs.
