Steve Kirk

Steve Kirk has actively participated in the NEPOOL stakeholder process since 2009. He is currently Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs at Alpha Generation. In his present role, Steve represents Alpha Generation in New England and PJM and a number of regulatory bodies. Currently, at Alpha Generation, Steve develops regulatory strategy, advocates on Alpha Generation’s behalf in front of regulatory bodies and RTOs and advises on Alpha Generation’s commercial operations. Prior to joining Alpha Generation, Steve spent two years at NextEra Energy Resources as a Senior Director where he served as the Sector Whip, the Liaison Committee Chair and the Members’ Committee Vice Chair at PJM and seventeen years at Constellation in a number of regulatory, strategy and policy roles in New England, New York and MISO.

Steve graduated from New York Law School in 1993 and from Rutgers University with a BS in accounting and a BA in economics in 1989.
