Brad Swalwell

Brad is Tangent Energy Solution’s Market Manager for ISO/RTO markets and a recognized industry expert on retail and wholesale energy markets especially in PJM, ISO NE and NYISO. His role is to analyze clean generation projects to determine how to maximize the economic opportunities possible in targeted market areas for Tangent and its customers.

Prior to Tangent, Brad was Director of Corporate Accounts at Comverge, Inc. (a NEPOOL Participant now known as CPower).  Brad’s experiences include implementation of demand response (DR) programs and energy efficiency (EE) projects, as well as metering, integration, and energy information system projects.  Brad has implemented DR and EE projects with utilities and energy service providers, as well as end use customers in both the industrial and commercial sectors.

Brad is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) with expertise in energy, capacity and ancillary service programs in PJM, New York, New England, and Texas. He represents Market Participants at the NEPOOL Markets and Participants Committees as well various PJM stakeholder committees related to DR.

Brad holds a master’s degree in business administration from Washington University in St. Louis and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Davidson College.
