FERC staff will convene a technical conference to discuss issues surrounding the threat to electric system reliability posed by climate change and extreme weather events (AD21-13)

The purpose of this conference is to discuss policy issues related to the reliability of the Bulk-Power System, including (i) current state, challenges and initiatives; (ii) extreme weather risks and challenges; (iii) managing cyber risks in the electric power sector; and (iv) maintaining electric reliability with changing resource mix
