Frank is the Vice-Chair of the Transmission Sector. Frank is the Participants Committee member for Vermont Electric Power Company (VELCO) and its Related Persons.
Frank Ettori is the Director of NEPOOL/ISO-NE relations, Power Accounting, and Asset Management strategic development for VELCO. In this role, Frank advocates for a holistic, cost-effective, approach to system reliability on VELCO’s behalf. In his Power Accounting role, he is responsible for metering, settlements, and meter data collections for Vermont ratepayers. In his Asset Management role, he is responsible for development of strategy development and implementation of the company-wide condition-based program. Frank is in his second full term as the Vice-Chair of the Transmission Sector.
Throughout has 28-year work history, Frank has served in positions responsible for Planning, EMS, Engineering, Operations, System Protection, and NERC Compliance. During this time, Frank helped execute the design, installation, and operation of the largest transmission expansion in VELCO’s 50-year plus history. Frank started at VELCO as a transmission system operator with a primary responsibility of maintaining Vermont’s bulk electric system reliability.
Frank earned an MA from St. Michaels College and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire.
