SUMMARY:Technical Session 1: Resource Capacity Contributions to Resource Adequacy
DESCRIPTION:ISO-NE will present technical background on the issues it is observing with the current methodology for attributing resource capacity contributions to resource adequacy in New England.  ISO-NE will provide background on how other regions have been addressing the issue including recent considerations of the Effective Load Carrying Capability (ELCC) methodology.  The session will conclude with discussions on possible approaches for scoping an assessment of the relevant issues in the region.  Market Participants and wholesale power system stakeholders interested in resource capacity contributions to resource adequacy are encouraged to attend.
